Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Identity Quest™ is built to be usable by everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard most widely used to measure web accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What We Do
- Pages use real headings, landmarks, and lists, in a logical order, with the page language set.
- Everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and controls meet the WCAG AA contrast minimums.
- Pages respect the reduced motion setting of your device, the game has its own Animations switch in Settings that keeps everything still, and nothing flashes.
- Text can be enlarged to 200 percent, and pages reflow at phone width without sideways scrolling.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are described in words, not by color alone.
- The game is turn-based: nothing is timed, and every action can be taken with a keyboard, with shortcuts listed in the help.
- Charts and the energy summary carry text descriptions.
How We Test
Every page type is checked with axe-core, the industry-standard automated accessibility engine, against WCAG 2.2 Level AA at phone and desktop widths, and by hand with a keyboard. The checks run again whenever the site changes. This statement was last reviewed on October 9, 2026.
Known Limitations
Some content may not yet fully conform:
- The action scenes are visual only. Their subtitle and the Live Feed say the same thing in text, and they stop entirely when reduced motion is on or Animations is off in Settings.
- Sign-in with Google opens Google’s own window.
- Content from other services, such as embedded video players, sign-in windows, and links to other websites, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
- Downloadable files, such as PDFs, may not be fully accessible. Ask, and we will send the content in another format.
Conformance Status
Partially conformant: most of the site meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and the exceptions above are being addressed.
